JAOS held its annual general meeting on June 12th in Shinjuku, Tokyo. About 60 people from JAOS member organizations attended the meeting. During this year’s meeting, 22 schools participating in the JAOS Partnership Program (JPP) were introduced. Additionally, three of the JPP participating schools attended the meeting and gave mini-presentations to introduce their schools.

Trade and Investment Queensland and JAOS co-hosted an international education seminar and reception at the ANA Crown Plaza Hotel Osaka in preparation for the Kansai-Osaka Expo in 2025. The event brought together Trevor Holloway, Consul-General of the Australian Consulate-General in Osaka, the Australian Embassy, Trade and Investment Queensland, Osaka Prefecture Government, high schools, universities, study abroad agents of JAOS and other related parties. It provided an opportunity for industry-academia-government cooperation in preparation for Kansai-Osaka Expo.
26th JAOS/FGER Meeting Held

The 27th JAOS/FGER (Foreign Government Educational Representative) Meeting was held as a hybrid format, face-to-face (in person) and online (Zoom). We had a total of 69 participants in the meeting and exchanged information on reports from various countries and membership reports.
